Mr. Litan is Vice President for Research and Policy, The Kauffman Foundation and Senior Fellow in Economic Studies at The Brookings Institution. He previously served as: the Director of the Economic Studies Program at The Brookings Institution; Associate Director of the Office of Management and Budget; Deputy Assistant Attorney General, Antitrust Division, Justice Department; and as a consultant to the US Department of the Treasury on financial issues.
